Residential Property Value Reductions
Residential Properties are valued using market sales of comparable properties in your neighborhood. It is very important that you have a property tax representative that is able to present comparable sales that will be accepted during the protest process. The Appraisal Districts use a classification system when looking at neighborhood sales. It is possible that the house next door that sold recently will not be considered.
In addition to a market sales analysis of your home, we will compare the value of your home to other like homes to insure your value is equal and uniform as required by the Property Tax Code.
